A project by AsoPMR

Spot4Dis is an innovative initiative by the Association of People with Reduced Mobility (AsoPMR) created with the purpose of transforming the way reserved parking spots are located for this group.

Carlo receives the award

Thanks to the fusion of artificial intelligence, satellite imagery, and citizen participation, Spot4Dis is positioned as a key solution to improve urban mobility at a European scale, promoting a city centered on people, where everyone can move with autonomy and dignity.

A bit of history:

Spot4Dis builds on the foundation of Park4Dis, an innovative platform that manually mapped PRM parking spots. While Park4Dis remains fundamental for the management and accessibility of these spots, Spot4Dis goes a step further: it uses advanced technologies of satellite imagery and Street View to automate and optimize space detection, achieving faster, more precise, and more efficient results.

Spot4Dis isn’t available in your city yet? No problem — you can still count on Park4Dis.

Towards a Wise Human City

Spot4Dis does more than detect PRM parking spots — it aims to trigger a paradigm shift: the Wise Human City, where the user is at the center of the technological project, not the city.

Five cities have accepted the challenge with vision and commitment, becoming key allies in the construction of more inclusive mobility.

Valencia, Zaragoza, Badajoz, Genoa, and A Coruña serve as pilot cities, providing unique urban contexts that allow the technology to be trained and refined in a robust, adaptable, and scalable way across diverse local realities in Europe. Their participation shows a strong commitment to social innovation and a clear intention to improve the quality of life for people with reduced mobility.
